Hitit University is launching a new project in line with its internationalization goals.
The project aims to implement strategic management, performance management, and results-oriented management processes in higher education more effectively and efficiently.
The project, titled "An Integrated Model for Strategic Excellence in Higher Education Institutions," for which Hitit University is the applicant, has been accepted and awarded funding under the Erasmus+ Program.
The project, which will last 24 months and has a budget of €250,000, is supported under the Erasmus+ KA220-HED Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education.
Prepared with a strong international collaboration network, the project partners include the Technical University of Valencia from Spain, Sumy State University from Ukraine, the Czech Association of Professional Higher Education from the Czech Republic, and Kastamonu University from Turkey.
The project, to be implemented under the leadership of Hitit University, will contribute to universities achieving strategic excellence by addressing their strategic planning processes with a more holistic approach.
Furthermore, the University Performance Evaluation and Action Model (UPEAM), developed within the scope of the project, stands out as a management model aiming to increase the institutional capacity of global higher education institutions. The project will facilitate the dissemination of the system currently used at Hitit University.
The successful completion of the project will demonstrate the suitability of the UPEAM Model for other universities and will serve as a guide for higher education institutions worldwide.
